Qingsong Wen is an Adjunct Professor at the Shanghai AI-Finance School of East China Normal University (ECNU), Chief Scientist and Head of AI Research at Squirrel AI Learning, and a PhD Supervisor at the University of Oxford. He previously held key technical leadership roles at top global technology companies including Alibaba, Qualcomm, and Marvell. He received his Master’s and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA.

His research interests span machine learning, data mining, and signal processing, with a particular focus on AI for Time Series, AI for Education, Large Language Models and AI Agent. He has published more than 150 papers in premier AI conferences and journals, including multiple Oral and Spotlight papers at NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, and AAAI. Several of his works recognized as the IJCAI most influential paper, and he has won the AAAI Innovative Applications Award multiple times.

He currently serves as Chair of the IEEE Task Force on AI for Time Series & Spatio-Temporal Data and Vice Chair of the INNS AI for Education Section. He has long served as an Area Chair for leading AI conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, KDD, IJCAI, and ICASSP. He is also an Associate Editor for top journals, includingIEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (Impact Factor 20.8),IEEE Signal Processing Letters, andNeurocomputing. He was selected as one of theTop 100 Most Influential Chinese Elites byForbes China.
