AI-Fin (Artificial Intelligence-Finance) Research Center

The AI-Fin integrates AI technology with financial theories and practices, aiming to enhance and optimize the quality and efficiency of financial services using AI technologies, such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. The AI-Fin represents a major shift in the financial industry, beyond a simple 2.0 upgrade of FinTech. The current and future professionals in the financial industry need to be re-trained and adapted to the AI-Fin era. The pioneers in the AI-Fin education and research areas will have vast opportunities to cultivate new financial talents and advance financial theories, technologies, and practices.

The SAIFS will establish the AI-Fin Research Center to focus on various AI applications in the financial sectors. We will concentrate on how to integrate financial theories into AI technologies to improve the efficiency of financial services while ensuring the utilities of fairness, justice, and ethics. The AI-Fin Research Center will be planning to release the Shanghai AI-Finance Index and an annual report in the future.
